WOMEN'S OLYMPIC TRAP FINAL RESULTS

    The qualification round for the women is now complete. The results for all competitors can be found here:

    The Women's Trap Final will start at 3:00 pm Beijing time/2:00 am CST. Entering the final are:


    Zuzana Stefecekova SVK 24 21 25 = 70


    Satu Makela-Nummela FIN 24 23 23 = 70


    Elena Struchaeva KAZ 21 24 24 = 69


    Corey Cogdell USA 23 23 23 = 69


    Daina Gudzineviciute LTU 23 24 22 = 69


    Yukie Nakayama JPN 22 23 22 = 67


    The final will be broadcasted live across the internet beginning at approximately 2:00 am CST. The link to the live final can be found here:

    The final for Women's Trap has just completed.


    Gold Medal: Satu Makela-Numella FIN 70 + 21 = 91


    Silver Medal: Zuzana Stefecekova SVK 70 + 19 = 89


    Bronze Medal: Corey Cogdell USA 69 + 17 = 86 +1/1 in the miss and out


    4th: Yukie Nakayama JPN 67 + 19 = 86 +1/2 in the miss and out


    5th: Daina Gudzineviciute LTU 69 + 17 = 86 +2/4 in the miss and out


    6th: Elena Struchaeva KAZ 69 + 17 = 86 +1/4

    The bronze medal came down to a 4 way shoot off. Nakayama, Struchaeva, and Gudzineviciute all missed the first target of the miss and out for the bronze medal.

    I'm looking forward in seeing Corey and Kelsey as our trap representatives in London! Great shooters and great young women in their own right!
