If one studies the national and swing-state numbers it can be strongly argued that women were basically responsible for electing Obama in 2008. He's a liberal and women, in general, vote for liberals. That's a historical fact so nobody paying attention should be surprised. 70% of single women voted for Obama in 2008. Young women getting bamboozled and voting based on superficial factors is, again, not surprising.

What IS surprising, at least to me, is that a recent national poll shows that overall right now women favor Obama at a higher pecentage than they did on election day 2008. That's right -- five trillion in new debt, economy on the rocks, the US Constitution being used as toilet paper, and women apparently think Obama is doing an even better job than expected. 56% of all women voters chose Obama in 2008. 57% now say they'll vote for him.

Mind you, I'm not talking about wives of 60 year-old trapshooters, or soldiers, or women who own guns, or women who are devout christians, or intelligent responsible-minded women, so don't lose your marbles or take offense over what I'm telling you. I might however, be talking about your wives' and daughters' friends. And the women you work with, and the girl selling sloppy-joes at your trap club. I'm definitely talking about 90% of female public school teachers and female college students. Show me a 20 year-old female who isn't voting for Obama and I'll show you a girl who isn't voting period, or a girl who has responsible, super-conservative parents.

Maybe we need to talk to the women in our lives. Not in "attack mode" or in a condescending fashion, but in a respectful fact-based way. Young people don't have the perspective to grasp how we blew past Europe economically because of how we were different and why it makes no sense to convert to Euro-Socialism now. And we need to appreciate that young people sympathize with the unfortunate a bit more than the rest of us because they have not yet learned how to differentiate between victims of circumstance and willfull losers. They don't understand that piling up five-thousand-thousand-million in new debt in 3.5 years and continuing to spend at record volume while borrowing 40% of every dollar is a threat to national security and the future of our children. We need to help them understand.

If we don't talk some sense into some of these women then Obama, with the blind loyalty from his slackers and minorities, is a certified lock in November. And if what he did in his first term disturbs you, wait till you see what he does when he needn't worry abour getting re-elected. Our best hope might be that women - especially young women - will simply stay home on election day.

Maybe you should just beat them into submission. LOL. Or, maybe come up with a candidate that they will believe and trust, that can win the election with there vote of confidence, that serves their purpose. Why feed them rhetorical propaganda to make them think the way you do.

So, basically you are insulting not only the young woman, but woman in general that vote for Obama, due to the fact that you think they are to stupid to vote. Speaking of subservient, maybe your wives are being just that, and would not vote against your party, even if they knew all of the facts, and did not follow all of the rhetoric you are feeding them. What if they are voting differently than they say. How much do they know about politics in general, outside of what you tell them? Maybe, just maybe, young unmarried woman are a little more informed than you think, and vote the way they see fit without outside pressure to vote differently, than what they believe. Obviously money status makes a big difference in the way woman vote also. Millionaire woman tend not to be so sympathetic. Just saying.

If your best hope is that people stay home, and do not vote, don't you think that is a sad reality? What does that say for your candidate? Isn't the candidate supposed to convince the voters, to vote for them.

What about Independents? They decide elections. I think they may just be the most informed voters. They tend not to listen to rhetoric from others, and do their own investigating to the facts, not what someone else says, or believes.

I am being a little harsh I know, but come on man. Jon

Click on the link. Obama's presidency was started in a recession, and remains in one. The last three Republican presidencies where in a economic up-swing or even an economic boom. Look what the national debt did during the past presidencies. I know you have a hard time thinking Bush was to blame, but the facts do not lie! Tax cuts at the same time of increased spending (Wars, National Security) along with the failing economy at the end of Bush's term started this unsustainable climb in the debt. If income is cut and spending increases, you go into debt. Simple as that. If you try to save the economy from total finacial collapse, creating even more debt on your term as president, while keeping those same economic policies in place, that is to be blamed on Obama. But, what was the alternative?

A line from 'As Good As It Gets', " Think of a man and then take away reason and accountability".

A good laugh but it doesn't change the opposing opinions.

    Stl Flyn:

I never suggested anything even remotely similar to "beating" women into submission, so don't try to twist my words. What part of "respectful fact-based way" didn't you understand? And YOU said "stupid", not me.

If I said something factually inaccurate let's hear what is was.

That was a sarcastic remark, that in no way to be taken seriously. I in no way was insinuating, that is what you where saying. It was more of the uniformed, and intellectual remarks that I was responding to.

    Sorry,

Good point -- when 70% of any group votes for an extreme leftist with zero executive experience to be President of the U.S., I'd definitely call that "uninformed."

This president came to the fight uninformed and unarmed.

He thought he was going to Kumbayah the folks and the economy into a Socialist Utopia. His Keynesian dream was based on a model that has NEVER been succesful. Giving trillions to people who did not employ anyone, not produce a product just shot holes in the bottom of the boat.

Increasing the size of government in hard times could only be seen as viable by 9th grade levels of thought.

If women like him, you speak of only the career oriented, midtown apartment, fashion conscious vacuous piles of clothing that make their living as teachers, retail sales persons, or mid level department management who don't know where the ladder is, much less how to climb it.

The results of this debacle are second only to the Great Social Experiment of the 60's.

Rationalize it however you like, but again -- 58% of ALL women, right now, are planning on voting for Obama in 2012 according to the national poll I saw yesterday. That's more than did so in 2008.

Women, like anybody else, don't like to admit they are wrong. There are alot of people that are voting for Obama for spite. It is crazy but true.30 years ago if a president had done the job Obama did he would be out on his arse.Oh yeah Carter did and he was. But,it is a different country now.Too many uninformed voters.I hate to say it but we had better prepare for another 4 years.SAD

I don't think it's a matter of "uninformed voters".. but a matter of how many voters are receiving government benefits.

The working class is outnumbered by the entitlement recipients which include a majority of women.

Remember a few weeks ago when the national media told you "The gender gap has disappeared!"?

Well, this week, if only men had voted, Mitt Romney would have won the presidency 52 percent to 44 percent.
