A BT-99 micro is a great gun. Why would she change?

Browning XT Trap Combo, although after a couple hundred doubles that doubles barrel starts to feel a little heavy. I love that gun and highly recommend it to everyone, but it depends a little on a person's stature. If she isn't going to shoot doubles I'd stick with the BT99.

I shoot an MX-8 combo with a 29.5" o/u and 32" top single. The key to happiness for me is the Precision Fit Stock--I can shoot all day and not be sore. And the adjustability makes a perfect fit possible. I'm 5'2" and shoot lefty so finding a gun that fit me seemed impossible until I got the PFS. It's a junior/ladies model so the grip is also smaller. Good luck!

KEEP HER, Ladys that like shooting are hard to find. If you shoot much go to DD or Wenig and have a stock fit to her. LOP, hand grip, etc. This sport is to expensive and Life is to short to shoot a 2x4. Allen

I'll add that Dennis DeVault set my stock up to fit me just right. I won't share with Dennis that, after shooting a 98 in caps during our State Shoot and noticing a little wiggle in the stock, my husband TOOK MY STOCK APART and put it back together 15 minutes before the Championship Handicap. Pay for the custom set-up and keep your husband and his tools away, no matter how good his intentions!

I shoot a BT99+ for singles and handicap. I shoot a Beretta 686 for doubles and back up gun. I love my BT99+ and would never trade it for anything!

Suzin shoots a Beretta 687 O/U(Etchens), but started with a Beretta 391. She loves them both. Both guns have produced a bunch of buckles for her.

I shoot a 32" Citori O/U. I had the stock cut and had an adjustable comb and counter coil installed by Chris Vendel. I am very happy with my setup.
