I purchased some of Wolff extra power hammer springs for my Browning Superposed and BT-99. This will hopefully cure my occasional FTF when using Nobel Sport primers. I was told that there would be stiffer cocking when two springs are installed in the Superposed. Is there any other down side about using these hammer springs??

I have used these before on customer request. I used them only on the bottom barrel. They are a little harder to install. The gun IS a little harder to open. On a neglected gun, one might get accelerated wear on hammer/sear surfaces. Keep the gun clean and properly lubricated.
