The Pat-Trap our club uses for Wobble continues to get stuck in the far right position when set on "auto" - has anybody else had this problem? What is the solution? Thanks in advance.

We have 6 Pat machines, and sometimes they will go past the reversing magnet and stick. Ours does it on the left side. Only once in a great while.

Switch to manual, move to center, and restart. If the problem continues replace the switch and/or check the magnet. Our original machines (we have the newer ones now) got erratic one time when someon tossed the flag in under the mounting bar that held the switches, and it got bent.

Other causes would include the relay or the electric valve.

    Terry -

Thanks, I did call Mike and you were right he had the answers. We order the correct parts to fix.

    HM -

One part we ordered was the relay.

What should the trap be doing when throwing wobble? I have tried setting our trap to wabble (pat trap) and it just throws them very high?

It goes up and down as well as side to side. Do you have a manual that came with the trap? It explains it in there. If you don't have one GET one.

The manual only tells how to set for wabble.

The wobble trap should oscillate up and down and left to right. There are limit switches that control the amount of up and down movement. There could be several causes for the trap not moving up and down. It could be in the switches and or sensors, or it could be a problem with the hydraulic system or several other things. Call Pat Traps and they will talk you through it. If you don't have an Owner's Manual you can get one on line on their website
