As allways great job on reporting and the great pics we enjoy every week its part of the WMCC we enjoy so much.

Now for the hard workers at Fennville Gun Club. Again great job on all the time donated by the menbers so we can have shoots like this. Also "kudos" for the awesome food put on by the kitchen week after week.

We all thankyou for a Great Weekend

This Sunday(1st) will be Bloomingdale Gun Club just enough time to reload some shells and heal up.

    Have a good one

Thanks again to all the shooters and everyone coming out to the club this weekend! Also thanks to the dozens of volunteers throughout the week preparing the grounds, food, traps and paperwork for the events!!! Sure makes the day run smoothly!!

Sure was another great event and had perfect weather the entire weekend allowing many past regulars come out of the woodwork! Great to see everyone back and doing well!!

Did a little number crunching for this weekend and the birds thrown which is as follows:

    Friday: 11 Protections (1620), Calcutta (1300), Totaling 2920 Birds

    Saturday: 6 Protections (900), 1st Calcutta (800), Second Calcutta (500), Skeet tournament (450), Open Rounds (500), 3 guns up (60)..Totaling 3150 Birds

    Sunday: 19 Protections (2860), 1st Calcutta (2900), 2nd Calcutta (1250), Totaling 7070 Birds

    WEEKEND TOTAL: (approx) 13,140 BIRDS!!!
Now, to recall, the GRAND weekend totalled approximately 17,400 Birds...

These Two weekends alone, totals 30,540 Birds!!! Certainly a busy month of August for the "Little Gun Club at the End of a Dirt Road!" HAHA

Thanks again to all the shooters for allowing this to happen.

As always, great job posting all the pictures and captions Doug. Its really appreciated to show the significance of the events and the fun that was had!!!

Hope to see you all soon

A great club it seems like everything they do they do vary well.

I am a proud member of the finnville club they have reached a high degree of excellence.

Unfortunately we have a couple of shooters that fall way short of deserving to shoot at such a club.

Doug thanks again for the excellent job reporting. I'm glad Schanz Supply gave you that giant raise for your efforts! It truly is alot of work for these shoots to go as smooth as they do. A BIG atta boy(and Girl) for all the effort from the volunteers and trappers. I think we have one of ther best crews of Trappers around!!Perry

Atta boys go out to everyone at Fennville! Great job. And as previous stated ALL WMCC clubs. We are lucky to live in an area of the state which has such great shoots! I know there are a number of people reading these threads who are wishing to have these types of shoots in their area. We are blessed.

Another atta boy to Doug for his endless reporting duties. Job well done!

And we cannot forget "Ranger" Dale. He took a day out of his schedule to come out and cook some of the finest, tastiest walleye in the world! I know what kind of effort it takes to clean, package, and also pay for those darn things so a BIG THANK YOU to Dale.

Enough with the emotional crap, let's get on to the ball bustin'!

Wonder what these guys are talking about?

Here we have the Board of Directors. I asked the three who is the President, VP, and so on. All I got in return was "Did you know shot was going up?"

And a picture of the man who made the feast all possible, Ranger Dale. I'm not sure but I think I got a couple pieces of this actual fish Sunday.

All and all a great day and great shoot! See everyone soon!

fennville puts on some of the best shoots around and everybody involved works very hard to make it that way its too bad a team with that caliber of shooters would have to sandbag and drop the last bird to win a few bucks and wreck a fine weekend for some

    This is my opinion only.
I would like to do away with the 50 bird races and make it strictly a 100 bird draw/pick.
As you all well know the "Indiana" crew travels 2.5 hours to visit the great clubs of Michigan.

As far as a team who drops a bird to avoid a shoot-off is sometimes smarter than most.

    Enough said,
