What a great day to be shooting cool temps and windy but heck you know us trapshooters we dont complain about Anything !! Protections started at 10am with i think 12 being shot before the calcutta sign up deadline at 12 noon with lunch being served today was burgers on the grill and tacos your choice or both like me complete with all the fixins and desserts to follow always a great job by all the volunteers at Bloomingdale we appreciate it very much and also a big thanks goes out to Joey Kiss and Lefty and all the other trapper who helped out moving things along and smooth, now lets see a few pics ...

Cloudy day made for some tough targets to see but remember us trapshooters dont make excuses for our misses and never complain about anything !!
We had Randy Hook and Don Stevens show up and Don getting a big laugh when Randy was telling him how well Gary was shooting today ..
And yes speaking of The Crusher A.K.A. Gary Metheny he wasnt denying the story but something must be going on because Gary was in the store today and Randy be sure your sitting down when you read this,Gary bought 8 pounds of powder and 2 yes i said 2 bags of shot !!!
And here we have Tim Schanz throwing pennies in the wishing well wishing he does good in the calcutta..
And here we have John Sudekis and George Coffee and it was good to see John feeling a little better and shooting today ..
And Perry Moore & Zeek Seekman stopped by today and a shout out goes to Perry Moore owner of Zeeland Blacktop for the added money he is giving to the calcutta at Fennville Rod And Gun Club 6/9/13 and also to Zeek Seekman for doing such a good job on the board at FR&GC which is also adding money to the pot as well as Midway Chevrolet in Plainwell so be sure everyone says thank you when you see them they are big supporters of the shooting sports, now lets see the first calcutta board..

Today we had 3 squads for 14 teams ..

And we had 5 teams tied at 49 and Doc and Trevor Bouma won in the shootoff..

In 2nd one team at 48 for the win Anthony Seekman and Doug Evert..

And 3rd 4 teams tied at 47 and Harry Lausman and Chuck E. won the shootoff.

    Good shooting everybody !!

Remember this week Fennville Rod And Gun Club 6/9/13 with 2 75-bird calcuttas 1 pick one draw dont miss it and remember the added money ...
