Wisconsin democrat legislators are cowards. They have abandoned their sworn duty in the face of hostile fire. Wisconsin teachers are cowards. They have abandoned their duty and their responsibility.

We must eradicate communism and socialism from this country. The time has come to turn our plowshares back into pitchforks. The time has come to cure our cancer.

    Respectfully,
    Kit

They vanished because they were going to lose.

This will not go unpunished. We had Teachers in Howard-Suamico district urging the students to take off Today. That's against the law.

IMO all the students should get a truancy citation, and the teachers arrested for contributing to delinquency of a minor.

The teachers think they're better than working people, and as such deserve the free pension and health care Chrome Dome and the rest gave them over the years.

The truth is there is no money. the alternative would be to fire teachers.

New York is contemplating removing 10 thousand teachers from the payroll.

Wisconsin should do that, maybe the pukes will be happy then.

The problem with kids being disrespectful and troublemakers lies with the parents and the way the kids are raised. When I was young, if I got in trouble at school, I was in twice as much trouble when I got home. Our morals and personal responsibility have been taking a dive. Single parent households don't help either.

Cities like Detroit have a 27% graduation rate. It's a parent problem.

That doesn't mean the teachers are off the hook either. Some of our schools are turning out some real idiots. And, you can't get blood out of a rock. Their pension plans have to based on real money available, not empty promises.

The Democrats left so there was not a vote on the budget bill today. It was a stall tactic.Give the teachers more time to protest. My school district called off school today. The administrator’s office said it was because of fog this morning. Originally it was a 2 hour delay in start, and then it was closed for the day. The administrator is out of state at some sort of meeting. The School board President, when called said he did not make the call of closing. I will be in touch with the Administrator next week to see who authorized the closing. I think it was an illegal strike. I am going to request this be brought up at the next board meeting to make the public aware of what is going on.

These people do not live in reality! Free Healthcare and Pensions! Are you F-N kidding me! They don't even work 12 months a year! They can't be fired and they don't want their performance evaluated!! This is NUTS!!!! Is this why we pay more for each kid on education in the US than anywhere else in the world and the product is sub par? Kids in the US lacking in reading and Math skills and falling behind when compared globally!

THE UNIONS HAVE GOT TO GO! Everywhere unions are involved the products and services cost more and the products and services they deliver are sub-par! I can point to numerous industries they are destroying and now they are destroying our country!!!! Did you hear Obummer state that unions should not be victimized and states like Wisconsin need to look at other reasons for their budget shortfalls not to the unions! The Dems are so intertwined with the unions it make me sick! Things are going to get real ugly real fast! The Dems are done and the American people have had enough...The teachers unions are greedy and the teachers advocating strikes and walkouts holding our kids hostage are F-N COWARDS!!!

I admire everything Christie and Walker are doing in their states...The rubber is meeting the road and it is happening in every state....People in those states are getting the details of these bad union contracts that are flushing their hard earned tax dollars down the toilet and are not happy!!!

Standing in line at a viewing for a fellow trapshooter last night I overheard a few teachers spouting their tired cliches about how difficult their job is and how poor their students attitudes have become. I bit my tongue several times as I prepared to remind them I work with their parents-grow up!!

It is a sad state of affairs that the ruling "elite" are allowed to turn their backs on the jobs they were elected to perform. If they don't feel the need to show up for work, they should resign, and go to work at Sears selling shoes, os something more suitable. Too bad that people have such short memories at election time!

The Dims that ran away from the vote should be brought back (in chains if needed) and forced to vote on this. They know it is a loose-loose situation for them. (what votes do they want to give up? The union teachers or votes from the folks that pay the bills)..........I LOVE IT !!!!!! Go get- em, flush the rats out of our educational system !!!!!!!! It's for the CHILDREN ya know.

Obama seems to be trying to make this into an 'us against them' situation. The duly elected people of the state are trying to correct the finances of the state. Obama is trying to turn it into a special interest fight. Obama is coming awfully close to being a disruptor and not a President. Unions aren't necessarily a bad thing. But if the money is not there, its just not there. Why would any union want others to go broke for the sake of them keeping a higher standard of living? Under communism you sell your soul to the party to be one of the 'favored' ones. Why would anyone want to see they're neighbor live in a poorer state so they can enjoy the fruits of they're labor? The unions are not trying to protect the workers as much as they are trying to protect thier own jobs and income, talk about a rip off, check and see what thier benifit package is.

People are up in arms here. Kids were cajoled into taking off, working parents have kids at home which disrupts their employment, And school adminstrators are threatening penalties.

My Grandkids' high school teachers are where they belong in West Green Bay, for the most part. They were told what would happen if they skipped.

I see several violations of law here. Truancy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unauthorized work stoppage per Wis Stat. 110.70(4)(l).

I really think the pukes are going to lose a lot of support over this. They would have been far better off to attempt negotiating the bill to strike a couple of the so called anti union items.

I have been a union worke all my life, and this sort of behavior was never tolerated in the private sector.

And where are the yellow-bellied cowardly little democrat legislators now?????

Fox just announced that they have run across state borders. These seditious, treasonous little communists must be made to pay for this! Crush these bastards! Crush them into the ground.
