This is a shooting related thread as I use this deck for gun pictures. But today the 12-14" of snow has taken over my backdrop/platform. This is my deck out the window.

    Jack,
I bailed out of Omaha two weeks ago to go to AZ. We will be shooting tomorrow at Ben Avery, temp will be around 80. I will use the sun screen on my semi-
bald head. Keep your shovel waxed for easier snow removal.

below 0 you forgot to mention it's going to get below 0 tonight way below 0. Been plowing and blowing snow all day. Not looking forward to Sunday morning. The wind isn't helping much either.

Storm is over. And winds have subsided. Looks to be dumping on Wisconsin now an da bit later into Illinois. Bears and Pats going to be running the ball today. It is 4 AM and I will wait till daylight to venture out and survey the terrain. I have a plow service for the drive and he was by once but it filled back in within an hour. But I'll add a few more pics for you snowbirds to pine over come 8AM central.

We left Kimball South Dakota at 9:30 Sat. morning, but got stopped by Snow plows on Rt 29 4 hours later (we made it 120 miles).8 degrees, no visibility. Ended up in a hotel in Vermillion SD till Sunday at 2:30. Windchill was -35. 680 was bad, but I-80 was clear till we got to the East side of Chicago where we met "Lake Affect Snow". Nasty. Arrived at home in Ohio at 3:00 am Monday.

    We're hunting earlier next year.
