Gary--What is the hose in the fish's mouth in the bottom pic? I have never been deep sea fishing so i'm dumb to the equipment and procedures.

I have family there in HI and I to wouldn't want to live there. EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE. Land is sold by the inch. I will someday visit the family there but not live there.

Gary , I thought when one chartered a boat one got the catch. Never heard of the bigger fish going to the owner of a boat. New one to me. Dan

I have a friend who was burned very badly in 1971. He lived and was given a settlement at the time to be about twelve years wages. He went thru most of it on spending sprees and one thing he did was to go to Hawaii and go deepsea fishing. The boat encountered a "bait ball" of bait fish with a school of tuna attacking them. I guess they landed almost a ton of these tuna. When the boat got back to the dock they sold the tuna and Mike paid for his Hawaii vacation with the proceeds. That's why I was wondering about the boat owner getting the big fish. Dan
