I've load several thousand Windjammer II wads and didn't even notice the fin until you mentioned it. Now my fingers are all bloody from the fin cuts. LOL RG

Actually, I believe that the 'new' design has been out for at least 6 months? I'm just now finishing the last bag, of a case(5000)of WJII wads, with the fins. At first, I thought it might be mold flash, but then noticed the design.

I never gave it much thought, but if it helps stabilize or reduce the small speed deficiency I traditionally get with the WJII wad, I'm happy to have them. I now use them for everything I load. They are one of the few true 1 oz. wads that I can load 7/8 oz. with on my MEC. I guess that I'll have to drag out the Chrono again to cure my curiosity?
