I shoot factory silvers in competition and tried the SH powder in an attempt to dublicate the same load for practice.I was shooting Green Dot and have found that with a red down range versalite wad can smoke the target from the fence just about as well as with the factory load.I no longer shoot green dot and really love the Super Handicap powder shooting it for the second bird in doubles as well.Try it and I think you may like it.

One of the 'softest' shooting powders out there. 20gr under a Downrange TGT12
with 7 1/2 shot destroys clays! Very good pushing 1 1/8 oz as well!

Andy- What is a "soft" shooting powder? The only thing I can think of is one that produces a lower velocity than others.

Perceived, "Pat." Perceived, as in feels softer. As-in more of a "poof" rather than a "crack." Oh! who knows. It just feels so muchhhhhhhh better....

Shot410Ga has it right! This powder has much less "felt" recoil!
