1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

This is a skeet bbl. they were marked ws-1 & ws-2 and some just Skeet. If i,m not mistaken the ws-2 is just a little more open.

A re-blued gun with non-original stock will not bring close to that asking price around here. Nice looking gun and a "shooter" but not of interest to a collector. With correct stock and original blue in that condition its worth 2 grand to the right person.

WS-2 was a tighter choke than WS-1, almost an I.C.

I believe the WS-1 choke is a "negative" choke. Meaning, it is more open the bore of the gun. It is somewhat of a bell shaped or flared end. It is old technology but original to Winchester and i believe they had a patent on that design back in the day. EuroJoe is absolutely correct on the WS-2. I.C. choke.

Is there a proof mark on the receiver like the one on the barrel? No proof mark means the gun was not originally a vent rib gun. How about a picture a little farther back than the one you posted?
