So I've been using Winchester Super target 1 oz 1180fps shells recently, love their performance.

Problem is in 10 slabs I have had 5 rounds that were poorly formed and disfigured, they wouldn't go in the gun. About another 5 that had a lump in the side that I had to thumb into the gun, and 2 of these that have just popped when firing!

I know they are an economy shell but when they work they work well.

Is there another Winchester 1oz shell that compares in performance but with better components?

I'd rather falcons Charlie but I love these little winchesters!

I just wanted to know if the AA 1180 xtra lite were worth the extra $15 a slab!

Saw this over the winter with Remington shells; Gun Clubs and STS shells.

Have had several AA and STS deformed shells over the years. Never had a deformed shell with Federal shotshells whether Gold Medal or promo loads.
