I could not find the original thread so here goes. You are correct I need to take a reading comprehension course, however let's focus on the "Big Picture". A quality trap gun sells for somewhere between $1500.00 and $7500.00 with some brands/models selling for MUCH higher. I sure hope you didn't overpay for your last gun by $8.00. There are a lot of alternative primers for sale that sell for less money than Winchester and provide (in my limited experience) the same satisfactory performance. With the rising costs of shooting does $8.00 warrant complaining publically, or would one chalk it up to experience and select a different product to use? My sarcasm is sometimes misread and that is my fault, however facts are facts if $8.00 is going to "leave a mark" or "sink you ship" your ship is already sunk and you just don't realize it yet. There is my .02 er $8.00 worth.... Larry Lockhart

    Larry,

The simple fact of the matter is i payed for 5000 primers and only recieved 4800 and for the know it alls who say they could of been removed anywhere from winchester to gun club where i bought them, winchester seals them with 3 pieces of white ribbed tape and i broke the tape seal myself and a magician would of had to removed it without damaging the cardboard,so weather you agree with me or not i dont care, you pay for something and get shorted everyday if you like, but im not.

    Bill,
I think it's a bad deal that you did not recieve what you paid for. I don't like paying for something and not getting what I paid for. I have used Cheddite primers for the past 2 years and have had excellent results. The Cheddites fire in all weather conditions, i.e. cold, wet, hot, doesn't matter. and they are significantly cheaper than winchesters. Yes they are imports, but they work. Larry
