I am looking for opinions on the Winchester 23 XTR 12ga. Anyone have any experience on them, let's hear it. Thank you.

Lots of them around , shot both a 20 ga. and 12 ga. for years. The Model 201 had some trigger issues, still fixable, but the 23's are nice handling, great quality guns. Good value.......Just my opinion,......Rob G.

I have a 23 12 ga and consider it a very high quality gun. It is so purdy I have never shot it

I have a model 23. It's a combo in 20 and 28 gauges. It's marked 1 of 500 and comes in a leather case. I tried it at skeet and didn't like the short barrels. Does any body know what it's worth? Thanks, Larry

Tried both the 12 and 20. Didn't like the felt recoil and barrels too short made poor handling. The 12 was particularly a "kicker".

I like the Beretta SXS and the Bernardelli.. both are vastly more dynamic and just feel better than the 23..
