I bought one last year at an auction for $250. A model 1912 made in 1914.

Nothing rare about that gun, they were used by hunters since they started making them ... No such thing as a bad Model 12, just some better than others ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Not rare, but highly desirable. I would trade you a 30" full for it.

Here are some eye candy pictures of my Model 12 28" Modified choke. Not a rare gun; however, doubt you will find very many NIB never assembled examples like this one. Have it's NIB 20ga and 16ga brothers it the safe also.

Mine is an early one too. 70,000 range, 1914 I think. I remember the 30" 28 gauge barrel. Haven't heard of it since. We will see in on a boxed gun one day.

I thought one of mine was a 30" mod. choke, but it is a 28", mod., with a solid rib.

    Made me look, though.

You could order any choke you wanted.
