Friend has a "3 pin duck billed" M12 Trap with monte carlo stock which he bought new many years ago, in an honest 95 - 98% shape (perfect blue, no cracks, chips in wood, very light scratches in finish on buttstock). Trying to figure approximate value. Current Blue Book indicates $1500 for 98%; $1300 for 95% with 60% additional for milled vent rib. How do you tell if the VR is milled? Blue Book values seem high for some guns, low for others... Any thoughts about a believable value (retail) for the gun described? Comments appreciated. Best Regards, Ed

W/ really nice(figured) wood, he may get 1200 out of it. I wouldn't pay that but there seem to be people out there that would.
