Winchester Expert 96 TRAP

    It was the first trap gun I ever owned. It was a nice quality gun, plain but well made and all that but for some reason it kicked like nothing I have ever shot since.

    The first time I shot it, with light target loads, I couldn't shave for a week. My cheekbone was that bruised. I tried it a couple of more times with the same result and traded it in for a Beretta. Naturally I took a large loss on the transaction.

    Obviously the gun didn't fit but I've shot others that didn't fit without the painful results.

    You shouldn't pay more than $800 for one in excellent condition but I'd avoid it if there were other choices.
