1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

This is an unusual offering. I have a Winchester by Stetson cowboy hat. It is in the same box as delivered to me in August of 1981. The size is 7 1/8 and it is marked a 3x beaver hat. The inside top of the hat looks like silk with the Winchester horse & rider on it and says Winchester by Stetson. This hat has never been worn only taken out of the box to look at it in 1981 until today.
I do not have any idea what it is worth but I thought I would "throw it one the table" and see if there was any interest.

What is the crown height, color, and the brim size? Sounds like a nice hat. I'd love to see a pic.

    To skeet2day,
I don't know who you are, although I have an idea who you might be. You have a better chance of me throwing in the Corvette before I would throw in my Stelling banjo.

I have one of those hats also 7 1/8 in like new shape. These hats I believe were a Winchester spiff deal bought through gun distributors. I opened a gun shop in 1984 and that is how I happened to get a couple of these. I don't happen to have the box. I would sell mine 125.00 shipped .

...why don't you post a photo and pertinent details?

I have a Resistol, 4X, Silver Belly, Laloo style, 4" brim, 7-1/8" in the original box that I bought in Raton, NM many years ago. Virtually unworn and it's a fine hat. Provide some details on what you have. Also: keep it wrapped in dry cleaning plastic with a couple moth balls. You don;t want little moth holes in it!!!

Used to be you could buy a 3X beaver for 50-60 bucks, I have a few but I bought a 50 X Beaver at the gun show when it was at crossroads for $285.00 ... The more X's the better the hat ... I was going to buy a 100X Beaver hat ($1,200.00) just to have it but my wife thought it was a waste of good money ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Wpt, if I remember those 100x hats used to say el presidente in them. They were very soft I kinda wanted one for myself. But I don't wear hats real often anymore.
