WAA12SL's are for 1 ounce loads.

WAA12L's are for 7/8 ounce loads.

AA12L is designed for 7/8 oz. loads and the AA12SL is for 1 oz. loads. In some loads they may be cross loaded depending upon your hull capacity and your powder volume.

The AA12L grey wads are suitable, and designed for, 7/8 oz. payloads.

The AA12SL pink wads are primarily a 1 ounce wad.

I use both the WAA12L (gray) wad ande WAA12SL wad.

    Here's what I know............

The gray wad (12L) is a perfect 7/8oz wad in STS/NITRO Hulls - crimps perfect, no dishing - it will be an UGLY crimp with 1oz of shot.

The pink wad (12SL) is a perfect 7/8oz wad in AA hulls - crimps perfect, no dishing.

If you use the 12L in a AA hull the crimp will bulge.

You can use the 12SL in either hull for 1oz but I prefer the Remington TGT for my 1oz loads - it loads perfectly in STS/Nitro/AA hulls alike with 1oz of shot.

Should work in a AA hull. Are they grey? If so I've loaded them with 700x 16 grains.
