Go to Hodgdon.com and get on their reloading site. You will need to buy the new Win. WAALite powder they sell and get the data on the load you like. I believe the load you shot was about 7/8 oz. lead fired at around l050 fps. or something close to that. Will not cycle a auto loader, but will break clays all day long. Justed looked up a load for you. STS hull, Win. primer, Win AA wad, Win. WAALite powder droped at 12.9 grains, 5,400 psi @ 1,050 fps. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff

I wonder if my old 1100 trap gun I picked up a couple years back will cycle them? The gas ports have been reamed out quite a bit. The bolt velocity is pretty high with regular loads, and max trap loads really slam the bolt back. What's the manufacturer part number on the shell box?

I had to up the FPS to the 1145fps load, functioned my browning gold, but a weak mount would cause a stove pipe.

You can duplicate the load with 7/8 oz AA or Claybuster wad, 14 gr of Clays, Win 209 primer in AA or STS hulls.

I used this load before the AA Lite Powder came out for Cowboy Action Shooting.

You should be able substitute Clay Dot and reduce costs a bit.

    14.6 gr AA-lite, W209 primer,7/8 wad,STS hull,7/8 oz # 9 shot!!!!!!!!You can run 100 singles with this load and the first shot in doubles!!The data from winchester reads,12.8 grs=1050fps, 13.6 grs=1100 fps, 14.5 grs=1150 fps

14.2 American Select, Winchester 7/8 grey wad, 400 grains hard shot (I like 8-1/2), Winchester primer, AA hull. 980fps, 4620 psi. 16 yards = smokes targets.

These loads will cycle a Model 59 Winchester most of the time for me, but not an 1100 Trap with a stock barrel.

    Shoot well and often,

    Mark.

a guy at the club was shooting these this last weekend, they were very inconsistent loads, some sounded like they had no powder, others were fine, out of 100 I think there were 2 that would not fire because of primer problems,
