    I just bought a case of 7 1/2's for $49.95, the AA's are $79.95, wonder why?

You usually get what you pay for. Better shot, brass base, reloadable hull. Until recently, $2 a box rebate. Mark

If you're talking about the Winchester Universals, everything Oregunner said plus they use a very inconsistent bulky powder. They won't cycle a lot of autos consistently, especially the 20 gauge shells. Although they carry the Winchester name and are made by Olin, they are nowhere listed on Winchester's ammo web-site. Promo shells for Walmart and others.

They are likely dove load overruns. But you know what? Put 'em on the target and they'll get the job done. For one-ounce loads they kick a bit, though.
    1290 FPS will do that.
