I have a few Winchester Western 28ga paper shotshells, and am wondering what they would be worth. They are 6 & 7 1/2 shot, with the dark red color paper. One box is the original yellow box they came in. I can post pictures later.

    Thanks,
    David McMillen

Do you have complete boxes w/ 25 shells that match what's written on the box, or a mix-match and/or loose shells?

Ian, I think I can match a full box of the 7 1/2's with the matching box. The others(6's) are in a older Federal box.

Are you talking about the yellow box w/ the red X on it?

    I rechecked what I have, I do have a full box of Super X(yellow box with red X) 28ga. # 6 shot, and a handfull of 7 1/2's.

Condition of the box, like most collectibles, is important in determining value. W/o seeing pictores, ave retail would be around $25.
