Help wanted if possible, "How many different models of the Winchester 23 were produced in how many different gauges" Looking to import a 20 gauge with choke tubes if there is one out there somewhere but would also consider other gauges. Thank you and kind regards Philip.

All four gauges were made. Blued receivers first in a pideon grade, and later with silver receivers. My friend has a 20ga he bought for $2400 recently ( not for sale) and another friend has a 12ga for sale with 26" barrels and choke tubes for $2000

I had a M-23 in 12 gauge that kicked like a mule. No remorse sending the mule kicker down the road.

They are light and often an awkward pitch. Some models had problems with the stock often coming loose, and trigger guard screw getting "reamed out".
