It's probably one of the recent Winchester-USRA reproductions, similar to the Browning 1886's, but with minor differences like a rebounding hammer. I forget if these have a tang safety (the 1895 does). They're nice guns. I have a Browning 1886 26" octagon barreled rifle and also a carbine, and they're quite accurate and well made. Same factory (Miroku) made the Brownings and the Winchester/USRA's. They're made on state of the art CNC machinery. The actions are smooth and feel solid. The rifling is deep enough that they work with soft cast lead blackpowder loads.<br>

It would be nice if you put POS REPRO in the subject line and saved me a mouse click.
