How can you distinguish a Win 101 O/U trap from a field model? Were all Win 101 34" full choke single barrel guns trap models? Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes, a single brl 101 would be a trap gun.....BUD

Also, a first sign to look for in the o/u would be if it had a monte carlo stock. This would indicate it is a trap model. In a regular stock model it still could be a trap indicated by the stock having a high point of impact seen by lining up the beads. If there is not two beads on the rib, it is not a trap model. But someone could have put on a second bead even if it was a field gun.
Of course, the one best way is to look at the gun to see if it says trap right on it....Some trap models did and some did not....BUD PS It should have at least a 30 in brl 32is trap for sure
