1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Interesting FYI.....

Al Ljutic designed the gas operating system for this rifle.

My Dad has 2 carbines and a rifle M-100 to hunt Elk.

    Great rifles

From what the artical says about the stamp on the inside of the reciver this one does not have it. So I'm going to say the recall has not been done.

I had a Model 100 back in the 90's & Winchester had a program where you could contact them, give them the Serial# off of your gun & they would send you the upgraded firing pin & carrier. Anyone with some knowledge of the gun could make the swap. The only way to see if it has been done is to disasemble the bolt & see if the firing will rotate in place. The upgraded pin will not rotate when the gun fires. John
