If you don't reload either one is fine, If you like to re-load them once or twice I have better luck with the Feds. they both have steel heads & some guns don't like steel heads. So as per hmb I would try a box of each then make my decision. Ross Puls

Federals. The Winchester universals are the dirt under the bottoms of the barrel. Worst factory shells you can buy.

I haven't found any 4 packs from Walmart that are 2 3/4 dram eq ie. 1145 ft/sec. For Handicap I believe the Winchester has harder lead shot.

There might be better promotional shells for better prices out there than the Wally world specials.

But, at under $5.00 per box that a great price. Good find and they seem to not limit you. Great.

    I bought 20 of the 4-packs Federals that's $45 a case great deal.

Beware they were out and I asked the clerk, they had pallets
full in the back. She didn't want to go get more but she did!

Checked thiis morning a local SoCal walmart for the black friday ammo special. Plenty of Federal four packs on the shelf, no special pricing, all priced @ $22.97. Sporting goods clerk said they had no mark down authorization from H.Q. Burned again...............

Go to walmart.com and click on the black Friday adds. It shows the Fed 4 pack for $18. Screen print it and take it into your Walmart. They had plenty here this morning.

Personally I'd buy the Federals just because they reload better.

The Win. Universals have the same wad as their premium AA's have!!! The most copied shotgun wad on the market bar none!!! The Fed's have a cheaper 2 piece wad that is not used in their premium Gold metal shells!!! Hope this makes your choice easier??? break em all. Jeff

I bought six sleeves of the Federals yesterday in 7.5 shot. Went back today andf bought six sleeves of the Winchesters in 8 shot. That should be a pretty good test as to which I like best. In the past, I felt that the Winchesters kicked a little harder, but that may have just been in my head! Jack
