Win one of these Deluxe Poker Sets at the ATA Shoot at North Hollywood Sportsman's Club this Saturday. Sets will be awarded to Singles Class Winners and Yardage Group winners. Plus, we will be having a great Poker Pot available for the Singles event.

Here is how it works: For the singles event, each squad member will cut a deck of cards. The card he cuts will be one of the 5 cards that will make up that squad's 5 Card Draw starting hand. Then, every shooter who posts a 96+ will earn the option of keeping his original card or drawing a new card. Obviously, the more 96+s a squad has, the more chances it has to improve its hand with the draw.

The ante is $10.00 per squad which can be contributed by all 5 putting up $2.00 each, one member putting up all $10.00 or something in between. The Club will be adding $100.00 to the pot so if we have 15 squads, a $2.00 bet can pay off $50.00!

ALSO, a big thanks to Bill & Ruthie Hunter for donating a special sterling silver ladies necklace with a silver dollar for HOA Lady and a money clip(with some cash in it) for HOA Vet.

AND, today I shot the first targets on our new 4th field. A great job was done by our members in building this field in less than 2 weeks with a hat tip to Garland Sears for getting our PAT trap here in time.

    Terry,

Sometime it's easier to draw a card that put up a good score. :)

    Hey Terry,

Remember, I put up a 97 last week at your place as soon as I got used to the slow, soft targets. Are you coming up to shoot? The weather is going to great so you should be able to protect your average. LOL
