1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Curtis...Yes it is a Y gun...it says so in the description..also if you will check the serial #s you will see that it was made in 1966. Also please check G. Madis book , page 157...its not a good idea to make negative comments about peoples guns when you don't know what you are talking about...WC

Nice gun well priced. With that stated , your gun was assembled perhaps in 1966. The reciever was pre-64 as all serial numbers before 2,000,000. The factory added the Y to the recievers left over because of an inventory requirement.
Here is an E-mail to me from the last manager of the Winchester Custom shop. About a similar gun about ten years ago. Jeff

    Jeff,
To answer your question on pre 64 recievers. Some recievers were retained for warranty work and some reserved for the custom shop. Mr. J.N.Gilson recieved serial number !,999,999 from the custom shop in October of 1964.Many of the pre 64 recievers were assembled after 64 , anything made in later years was a "Y" model and yes some of the old receivers were built and the Y added
with out the Y the system wouldn't let them out of the building as an inventory requirement. Any reciever before 2,000,000 was made before 1964
no telling the year the gun was made.

I built one 2 barrel set like that in 1993

Real Super Pigeons had milled receivers and real #1 hand engraving. This appears to be a "real Super Pigeon" like Bigbore suggests.
