Can anyone recommend someone reasonable with decent turn-around time to replace the bolt on a Model 21?

Try Galazan. They are the best and they have all the factory parts.

CSMC/Galazan is the Winchester "factory" repair. Not cheap, but very reliable and quality.

Thanks, Gene. I would rather not deal with Galazan. Is Simmons turn around ok for this type of service? Just had them re-lay a rib on another 21 and it took quite a while.

Is Phil already back in business? He has done several jobs for me, some pretty complex.

Simmons has one guy that does resoldering ribs- you do go in line but they have great work

I think there are a couple or 3 that can do this type of work with the retightning

I would recommend Doug Braker for any locking block work. He has the best tooling and the best knowledge.
