33 months after fire destroyed the Williams County Conservation League building in NW Ohio, re-construction had begun! Trapshooters will have an excellent meeting place in the near future at a fantastic club.

Thanks to all the hard work of a great membership and the donations of many from the surrounding area!

We will try to keep everyone posted with new pictures as the project continues.

Joe: I was there today and the concrete truck was pulling in to pour footers-looking good. It looks like it is going to be a nice size building. Roger

Guess we will be out of our little building sooner than we thought. But our little building has served us well. Thanks to the gun club members and all the volunteers that came in and helped us.
Glad to see that things are moving. Thanks everyone for the donations and all of your concerns.

Sure will miss our litte TAJ MAHAL!!!!!

I don't see why we couldn't keep the TAJ just for you to run shoots out of.

I think that Taj Mahal would make a good ice fishing shanty on the pond this winter. We could fish 15 or 20 out of it!

Had some good ideas on additional parking at the meeting tonight- clearing some areas to the south in the woods. Also got support for adding educational facilities in the building, dry erase boards, powerpoint wiring and movie screen, wireless networking, PA system, and classroom/ meeting support items.

    Should be great!

It's good to finally see some concrete going in the ground. I doubt most people realize how much time Joe, Pete, and the rest of the committee put into this, and what a pain it is to get all the permits and inspections. Good job guys.

Rosey ps: did you use plan #347 or #348? (just kidding)

Rosey and Adam deserve a HUGE amount of credit for finally hitting a moving target thrown their way for the design. For some reason we wanted to build more than we could afford, (several times!) and they were always there when we had to reel the expense back in. Your efforts will be appreciated for a long time, the time you put into the project is by far more than the rest of us.

    Thanks!

Joe, what happened with the picture of the concrete truck? The concrete guys wanted to see that they were on here, but they could not find the picture. I see that some threads have been deleted. Maybe you can take a picture of them when they pour the floor.

They cut the concrete yesterday. Getting ready to pour the porch, then the sticks will fly. Coming right along.

Porch and walks to the trap fields are poured, plumbing is ready for framing, plate is on, septic, water, and electric lines have been buried across driveway. More work has been done on grade, trees will be coming down this week to make room for additional grading, should get some new pictures by the registered shoot next Saturday.
