Rick Perry is right about the Federal Reserve. Nixon cut the dollar loose from any relationship to gold in 1971 due to excess dollars printed and a run on our gold supply. Once it was cut loose there were no limits on printing more paper money. Congress began spending like drunken sailors and the Fed was only too willing to oblige. Look at what has happened since then:

Our economic problems of today stem from the excessive spending/printing of money since 1971. So what is not treasonous about that?

Carl Rove is out to derail Perry. That doesn't bode well for his chances. Romney will be the beneficiary of the fight for the extreme right-wing support between Perry and Bachmann.

Rove is just another political piss-ant who thinks way too much of himself. It won't be long before "life its ownself" will steamroll his porky little ass.

The Republican front runner may not even have declared yet. Regardless of who it is I sincerely hope conservatives will get behind him or her in solidarity and quit the snipeing. There is enough of that to do against the incumbents.

Rick, Perry will stay in, Romney will be out. That's my guess. There will be many positions to fill.

Frankly, I don't see what Ann Coulter sees in Christie except that she may have a hefty bet going as to whether he may throw his hat into the ring or not. Christie has said repeatedly that his New Jersey constituents need him and he was staying there. If he jumps into the Presidential ring, what happens to NJ? I think Christie has too many uncertainties but he does have experience as a State Governor.

How has Romney changed since last time he ran and was rejected?

Yeah, one by one the real conservatives will be marginalized and cut out from the pack. Then we'll wind up with an unimaginative, milquetoaste anti-gun RINO sop like McLame. At which point the GOP will lose because voting third party will look attractive then.

Coulter and Levin disagree about Christie. I tend to go with Levin. Then look at Massachusetts. Romney is not a strong Conservative.

Geez, now there is talk that Paul Ryan is going to jump in.

Gets more interesting day by day and still have around 14 months to go.

Maybe get all the drama done with now and we won't be burned our an bug-eyed come August 2012.

Too long to the election and too many candidates plays into Obama's hands. By the time all the Republican candidates have carved each other up and coffers are emptied there's nothing left to run against Obama with. I hope I'm wrong.
