So now that the Islamic Brotherhood is in power in Egypt through the newly elected President, what do you see happening in the MiddleEast?

Morsi says he will take a different stance with the US and take a harder line against Israel.

A far as I know the Brothers did not get elected, it was Mubarak's prime minister who was elected.

Last night's count had Shafig ahead by 50.7% but I guess barry must have flew over the acorn people. There will be another civil war which is good for Israel. A photo of the sisterhood.

They made the announcement about Morsi just about 30 minutes ago as being the winner.

A lot now depends on the military of Egypt, just how much power they will concede to Morsi.

"Rethink Israel Pact, build Iran ties." Statements by Egypt's new president, Morsi

Yep, we could be in a heap of trouble.

Could be, some day, not too far in the future we are wishing we had cheap gas, like it was at $5.00 gallon, before all that trouble in the MiddleEast flared up.

We're screwed. Oil will skyrocket and the economy will take a dump. Hard to run a car on wind and solar power.

Build the Keystone Pipeline!!!!NOW!!!!.....we (Canada) want to sell you more oil. Obama and the Dem's want you to be held hostage by the Muslim oil states....at what point do enough of you demand, en mass that your elected representatives of BOTH parties do what is right for America instead of what is politically expedient for Obama? November may be too late.....JMHO

Egypt has nothing except a lot of people and tourism. They will starve without the tourists.
