    EE gave you some very good advice!!! I only chose to harvest one after having it packaged by a pro, and didn't want another after that!!!

    Feral hogs is a whole different matter when it comes to meat quality! I killed a huge sow on an island with my recurve bow that escaped being rounded up for shipment to the slaughter house. Best pork I've ever had in my life!! Hap

    You got expert advice, about 25 years ago my son and I each shot wild boars. About 80% of the meat was made into sausage by a Pennsylvania Dutch butcher and it was delicious. The rest of the meat was cut into roasts which was so tough that it was not edible.

    Wild Boar meat makes awesome Cherrizo sausage ..but you have to have a butcher who knows how to season it right
