    OK now for fair play.

MCCain/Palin supporters, convince me that I should vote for them.

Just three things that they will do that will improve the country.

Please do not flame me or the other side just the facts on their stance on three things to improve our nation.

This should be a simple exercise and I will consider building on other posters ideas.

You will keep your firearm rights.

The corruption in Washington may be alleviated.

you will keep the Socialist out of the Presidency.

    That's 3.

Because you believe in traditional American values. You believe these values are "the" reason our country is great and prosperous. And that the most important of the American values is unleashing the power of the people by maximizing individual freedom and limiting government to the basic core necessities. You understand that the price of that individual freedom is taking individual responsibily and accepting the rewards and the consequences for the decisions you make with that freedom. You believe we are ill advised to expand government at the price of individual freedom & liberty when you cannot see them doing very well with the responsibilities they have already taken from the individual. And you realize that this precious freedom that so many have fought and died to preserve, once surrendered to government is seldom recoverable. Almost all of the "burning" issues of the day can be put into this context. Sadly neither party is totally on board with this philosophy, but McCain/Palin has a clear advantage over the other. They will not turn us into a socialist nation, they won't dismantle our military and retreat in shame from the war on terror, and they won't surround themselves with America/freedom hating associates.

I don't have three but to me if one is serious enough it should be sufficient.

The above link has many steps to accomplish the the one reason you should vote for McCain/Palin. Now I know that all the liberals will say that this is Republican BS all I can say is look at the time frame on all of it it all starts after the Dem take control of congress in 06.

Virtually every morning of his adult life. John McCain has gotten up and went to work for the betterment of the USA. Every morning in his adult life Barack Obama has gotten up and gone to work for the betterment of Barack Obama.

For the past 35 years, Joe Biden has graced the Senate with his "wisdom". For the past 35 years, Sarah Palin has been an ordinary person accomplishing extaordinary things.

Voting for Obama puts you on the side of every radical, perverted, anti-military and anti-American group in the Country.

Bonus: The next President will appoint at least 2 Supreme Court Justices and countless Federal judges. If you want those appointments to be radical judicial activists in expanding constituional "rights" to criminals and diviants and expanding control of radical envirionmentalists embbed in agencies like Agriculture and Fish and Game, vote for Obama.

It is highly unlikely that any president will do anything for the economy.

Having said that; the Democrat's way to improve anything is with more! More spending more taxes more control. Nationalist Socialism seems to be the goal of Barack Obama and as a President long term he can influence the direction of which our country will take.

I'm not all that concerned about the economy and yes I am not better off today than I was 2 years ago when the Democrats took over control of congress. I have lost more than 50% of my net worth between the stock market and my homes current value.

In the big picture those of us who have the privilege to be residents of our country enjoy a far better life than most of the world. Our healthcare system as bad as it is; it's the best in the world. Our standard of living for the number of hours worked is exceptional. Would you like to live as a citizen of China, India, Brasil, or Russia?

Now the real reason why I want McCain? Not my guns! Our Nations Security.

Say what you want about the Republicans or President George Bush but remember. We are far safer today than we were when 9/11 happened. The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 10 or 12 years ago. We are still safe and I think McCain will make our countries National Security stronger.

With a strong National Security will come stability which will eventually lead to a stronger economy in the long run.

I know National security may be an abstract concept for the liberal minded.
You can't spend it. You can't see it. You can't eat it. With out it you won't have any government to carry out any one of the programs which it does presently like Education, Senior Care, or Health care.

The grass is always greener on the other side. There is no Utopia it doesn't and will never exist. Even a Muslim extremist knows there is no Utopia on earth. It's with the 72 virgins waiting for him.

Imagine if our country were overturned by radical extremists from Islam. It could happen if our National security is weak enough. One look at the problems in the UK and you should see that it is not that far fetched. The only people who will have Schools, Hospitals or decent jobs will be those subscribing to the correct sect of the Muslim faith. One only has to visit those countries to understand this.

Now give me even one reason how Barack Hussein Obama will strengthen our nations security. As a supporter of radical Islam I think not! He even refers to it as his (Muslim Faith). Barry has made statements in the past about considering a return to his Muslim Faith!

To go along with Joe's post, here is some reasoning why and why not:

From another post: "What is America 's first line of missile interceptor defense that protects the entire United States ? Answer: 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard. Question: What is the ONLY National Guard unit on permanent active duty? Answer: 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard Question: Who is the Commander in Chief of the 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard? Answer: Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska Question: What U.S. governor is routinely briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counter terrorism? Answer: Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska Question: What U.S. governor has a higher classified security rating than either candidate of the Democrat Party? Answer: Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska OH I THOUGHT SHE WAS JUST A HOCKEY MOM...."

Just think when someone talks about her experience, they won't bring up these points because it will show how she is MORE qualified than either of those on the other ticket and the top of hers. Govenors will ALWAYS HAVE more executive experience than someone from congress In reality, when it comes to foreign policy experience, NO congressman OR govenor has any. Name one of these people who has ever NEGOTIATED any treaty or agreement with foreign LEADER?? There isn't any and they ALL have to learn ON THE JOB!!! Attending a state dinner is just that and NOTHING else.

This is the reason that we HAVE TO/SHOULD look at the character of the person running. Their character, or lack of it, will give a good insight on how they PROBABLY act in a given circumstance. This is also why only a McCain/Palin ticket is viable for the office this time. McCain, while I am not a huge fan of his past legislation and reaching across the aisle BS, is the _only_ choice to lead the civilized world. He understands the true costs of war. (I trully feel that this is some of the reasoning behing her belittling by the mainstream press)

Obama only whines about the war and says things that he thinks people want to hear. (it changes depending on where he is also) Can you fathom how this country could end up if he tried to apease other world leaders to make them "happy"?

Obama talks _negative_ about our country the majority of the time. While it may not be perfect, it is still the BEST country on this planet!!!! Also, look at the people that Obama has been/is associated with. He may run from this assocation or try to SPIN it, but it is still there. (if he really wanted to disassociate himself, he should have left the church/living room et al immediately after discovering) One other thing that has been bothering me, is within 2 days, Joe "the plumber" was found to not have a license, have a tax lien... Why has it taken over 6 months and we STILL don't have a true birth certificate, college records et al? I would think that this should be easily obtainable, shouldn't it???

While Hollywood and the mainstream media sources try to down play all the need of _GOOD_ character, I want the person with the _BEST_ character negotiating on MY behalf with other countries' leaders; don't you?

Vote for Obama. We need a socialist, racist, Muslim sympathizer in the White house; who does not believe in the Second Amendment and wants to establish a national police force.

    Curt,

I am not trolling. I have read every thread on this site about the elections and have not once seen these questions asked. I am not trying to be cute or anything else, just want the facts and not the hype.
