Just got through watching Newt on Hannity. Every time I hear/watch Newt I think - this is the guy. This is the guy who has the ideas/answers. I know a lot of people don't like him personally but agree with his ideas.

I guess the question is - is it the singer or the song? Is it the sizzle or the steak? Newt might not be an accomplished singer, but he is singing the right song.

Newt was Speaker of the House when the budget was balanced. So why not him.

Romney - Romney care, from the northeast, possible RINO.

Perry - the deal breaker for me is immigration, and he appears to be weak.

Herman Cain - I think he is great. Love the fact that he is from private enterprise. Love his 9-9-9 plan, but Ojackass with his Billion Dollar war chest will destroy him because of it. How can you convince the 50% of the population that doesn't pay any income tax now, that the 9-9-9 plan is the way to go??

Bachmann - I think she would be a great president, but her campaign is fading away fast.

    So why not Newt?

He has been working his whole life to become President just like Nixon,Clinton, and Obama. How can you trust anyone like that.

IMHO...Newt would be a great VP. Perry would be wise to get Newt on his team sooner than later.

People don't like "in-your-face-honesty," and that is the only way Newt delivers. No punches pulled, no soft talk, just tells it like it is.

But, because of the the "chickafication" of America, where men are afraid to be men and women can't stand directness, Newt isn't likely to get elected.

    He's just not sensitive enough.

He's not only an idiot, he's a crook and worse yet, a cliche. He wouldn't even carry his home state of Georgia. They laugh at him down here. Yea he would make a great VP. team him up with Tom Delay. They were both run out of DC.

He's old news, him on a ticket as VP would kill any chance of being elected.

Well I see where the guys with numbers in their handle have weighed in, and they have made negative comments about Newt. So now I know for sure that Newt is on on the right track.

Don't forget Newt supported cap and trade even appeared with Nancy Pelocy supporting it. I'd vote for him if he wins the nomination but I prefer in this order, Cain, Santorum, Romney, Perry.

Newt is wise to the Washington crowd and as a result draws their fire and he is a virtual font of information about the ways things should be run.

Newt would be the best president we've had since Lincoln..........but can't get elected. Too controversial and too bad.

    Lesson to be learned:

Never, ever show you are human, have weaknessess and make mistakes.

Even if you were qualified to run the show.

The only one that will forgive you is God.

Newt has more baggage than Samsonite and American Tourister combined. He may be the smartest candidate but he is unelectable.
