When will someone post clear instructions exactly how (step by step) to post pictures on this website? I've tried at least 10 times (following the instructions given by the webmaster) and the pictures never post! What is up with that????

Someone please help us technically challenged folks!

Thanks,

Kevin

Try this, if it still doesn't work, I'll send my tech support over to help you, she charges $250~$400 an hour depend on what she wears.

Thanks for the info guys. Not being negative, just looking for help.

If you follow the instructions made up by the webmaster, they give you an opportunity to see the pic's before you post them. I have never been able to get the pic's to show up when doing that.

And BTW, I'm not the only person having trouble with this. Take a look at how many guns and other items are for sale where the person selling the item can't post pictures. I figured if I posted this thread, more people would get your advice.

I'll give it a try.

Thanks,

Kevin

sometimes you have to watch the html for Url that's being put into the thread. Since the website automatically adds the img statements, you need to delete those until it works...

<>IMG SRC="http://post46.org/photos/michigan%20logo.gif"

will not work,

http://post46.org/photos/michigan%20logo.gif

will give you this....

I just tried the same method I've used to post pics on a dozen other boards and it didn't work. I always copy and paste the IMG code, but here I get this...

If I follow the directions and paste the HTML code from Photobucket, i get this...

<a href="http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d82/crowstalker/?action=view¤t=p-hm-14.jpg" target="_blank">
</a>

Buy my sister a drink and she'll teach you anything you want to know.

Don't you just love it when people tell you things like, "Gee, it worked fine for me."?

I agree with Kevin. It's a pain in the a$$ to get them posted here. If it wasn't for the good folks who read TS.com helping me out, I'd never get a picture posted here. Fire away.

I know the instructions were here somewhere????

It would take up a lot of bandwidth that is not available unless the cost of the site goes up. The storage site , photo bucket and the rest) have the room.

Get a photo bucket or other account with a similar service like Flicka.

Upload your picture from your file into that account(your picture is now on the web).

Open up your photo bucket account with the pic and click on it.

Get the picture to appear the right size not a thumb nail.

Right click on the picture and choose "copy image location".

Go to the trapshooters.com thread you want and left click inside the "Image URL" box.

Now go to the top of the screen and click on edit to get the drop down menu.

Click on "paste".

That is about as easy as I can think to explain it.

I took Steve W.'s advice and it worked just fine.

It was the HTML click and paste into the text box that worked for me.

Thanks Steve!
