When will someone post clear instructions exactly how (step by step) to post pictures on this website? I've tried at least 10 times (following the instructions given by the webmaster) and the pictures never post! What is up with that????

Someone please help us technically challenged folks!

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Try this, if it still doesn't work, I'll send my tech support over to help you, she charges $250~$400 an hour depend on what she wears.

Thanks for the info guys. Not being negative, just looking for help.

If you follow the instructions made up by the webmaster, they give you an opportunity to see the pic's before you post them. I have never been able to get the pic's to show up when doing that.

And BTW, I'm not the only person having trouble with this. Take a look at how many guns and other items are for sale where the person selling the item can't post pictures. I figured if I posted this thread, more people would get your advice.

    I'll give it a try.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

sometimes you have to watch the html for Url that's being put into the thread. Since the website automatically adds the img statements, you need to delete those until it works...

    <>IMG SRC="http://post46.org/photos/michigan%20logo.gif"

    will not work,

    http://post46.org/photos/michigan%20logo.gif

    will give you this....

The only trouble I have with Photobucket is that it will not copy the link until I actually click on the photo first and bring it out of the album. Then it will copy. Jeff

I just tried the same method I've used to post pics on a dozen other boards and it didn't work. I always copy and paste the IMG code, but here I get this...

If I follow the directions and paste the HTML code from Photobucket, i get this...

    <a href="http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d82/crowstalker/?action=view¤t=p-hm-14.jpg" target="_blank">[IMG]</a>

Buy my sister a drink and she'll teach you anything you want to know.

Jeff.Rather than click and bring the photo up as yo describe, do this.

    Left click on the HTML

Then right click and you will get a choice to COPY adn left click copy and it is ready to put on TS.

I do the something as Mike, IMG code never works, but the "Direct Link" HTML does. That is in PhotoBucket. I wonder if it is an AOL thing? Wayne

Direct link goes in the "Image URL" box.

HTML code goes in the text body.

So you can post multiple pics.

    Steve,

I would have you send them both but the little lady might throw all three of us out. I would not want to get thrown out now my gun room is almost done! But on the other hand it just might be worth it! OH BOY

Don't you just love it when people tell you things like, "Gee, it worked fine for me."?

I agree with Kevin. It's a pain in the a$$ to get them posted here. If it wasn't for the good folks who read TS.com helping me out, I'd never get a picture posted here. Fire away.
