It seems the same old voices share their same old poison to one another over and over and over adnauseam. Why include this crap in our sports forum? We're Trap Shooters, we love dusting clay targets, it is our passion and major pastime. I don't understand having something so foreign to our interests having a place in these pages.

Don't remember hearing this request from 2000-2008, but I could be mistaken. Who knows, maybe after 2015 this type of discussion won't be necessary.

Political commentary is "foreign" to our interests???????????? Well, keep your head in the sand then, switch to category view and just don't read anything but the shooting and for sale threads. Ok, now?

    Dear Ismah,

It is because we can discuss our political opinions, any where any time we wish, that we can use shotguns to break clay targets. If you do not understand this fact, you are absolutely " not all growed up in your learnin boy ".

Because the site owner allows it, that's why.

Because anti-gunners are trying to stop our sport, that's why.

    Don't like it?

Go start your own site and make your own rules.

Or exercise some self control and don't read anything in the Political section.

    It's just that simple.

"Why include this crap in OUR sports forum?"

Well...Because it's not OURS, It's Davids web-site, and we are guests.

Click the link, and read the thread from last November.

Politicians have attacked our 2nd Amendment rights and thus "We the People.." must stand up. To liberal politician a gun is a gun, divide and conquer. Started in the 60's when I was a teenager and continues to this day. If all of the gun owners would vote their gun rights we would have no need to discuss.

BREAKING: California General Assembly Votes to Essentially BAN Almost All Hunting Ammunition

According to a press release put out by the US Sportsman’s Alliance, the California General Assembly (similar to the US House of Represenatives) recently voted to ban lead ammunition in the state.

This obviously has huge implications for both hunters (most quality hunting ammo contains lead) and also general ammo availability within the state.

It has long been theorized the federal and state governments may attempt to significantly regulate ammunition as a roundabout way to infringe on the right of the general populace to keep and bear arms.

Here is the full press release.

The California Assembly recently passed a ban on traditional ammunition containing lead that may result in a complete ban on all hunting ammunition.

Assembly Bill 711, which would outlaw the use of lead for hunting in California, passed the State Assembly on May 22nd by a vote of 44-21. In a twist that presents a threat to all hunting, passage of AB 771 by the California Senate could stop all hunting with rifles as the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) may consider alternative rifle ammunition as “cop killer bullets” triggering a ban on those as well.

Now the bill is in the hands of the State Senate. It’s already illegal to use traditional ammunition in Condor Range. If the Senate passes the bill, California would be the first state in the U.S. to take such action.

When coupled with the ban on hunting bears with hounds, passed in 2012, California is undisputed in its claim as the most unfriendly state to hunters in the country. California sportsmen and women should not let this happen without a fight. Senators need to know that there is no justification for a blanket ban on traditional ammunition, and they need to know about the potential ban on all ammo as a result of the actions of the legislature and ATF.

Take Action! California sportsmen and women must contact their State Senators today. Tell them to vote NO on AB 711. To find your Senator’s contact information visit the USSA Legislative Action Center

Because this is still AMERICA!! if you don't like it PLEASE leave!!

Its also called Free Speach and millions have shed BLOOD to preserve it!!

As the "same old voices" keep calling a spade a spade, the same old voices who oppose "them" CHOOSE to remain IGNORANT.

The Truth hides from no one. But there are those who hide from it because it makes them uncomfortable in life!

Anti-gunners are a matter for this site. And...those same anti-gunners seem to be in favor of murder by abortion, gay marriage, drug legalization, against voter id laws and in favor of big tyrannical government. And all of those affect our rights as American law abiding gun owners. If anyone doesn't like the political threads..only a tyrannical government would force you to read them. ed

I have had several windshield repaired with safelite over the years with good lasting results. They have also replaced a couple of windshield that were not repairable.

They are a part of a huge company that provides this type of service in Europe and other regions too.
