1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have had two (still have one) Broadways and have not had a problem in over 40 years. Anyone else had the rib splitting problem? Marc

I've been a trapshooter since 1964 and, like the others above, have never heard of ribs splitting. I've heard of the solder letting go and the rib becoming loose from the barrel...but never splitting.

I wonder if these guns had ever been re-blued, using the hot-tank method?

I know some guns weld/solder will weaken at the ribs and between barrels when not re-blued properly.

If your the original owner of these Browning's their guaranteed for life providing you never had the internal dimensions of the barrel changed.
