'More people than ever are identifying themselves as independents. What's driving them away from the major parties?...

Tea Partiers are turning off Republicans: This is a big blow to rabid partisans who think you're "stupid" if you aren't "liberal or conservative enough," says Joe Gandelman at The Moderate Voice. But it's also an indictment of the Right. There are far more independents and Democrats than there are Republicans, showing that many Americans reject "the current dominance of the Republican Party by the Tea Party movement and the talk radio political culture..."

Too bad the fruitcakes took over the Tea Party.

Why even respond to his threads? He obviously doesn't have a job and searches for this crap on the net all day in his mommy's basement.

He thrives on yanking your chain.

Where's the whites only gun club with Klansmen for members, Mr Skeet?

Oh that's right, you made it up.

So I'll assume this thread is just more of your typical "credibility".

Danged if I know, but I'm sure Mrs. Keet knows the answer.

yep Barker, just like the lunatic fruitcakes that took over the Democratic Party. Lunatic fruitcakes of both extremes are a low class of humanity. Only difference is the lunatic fruitcakes on the extreme right will drive off the moderates and independents and give the Republic four more years of Obama.

    Now how dumb is that?

Sure Barker the number one goal was the original intent of the tea party. I have no problem with that, but every right-wing nut with an agenda has joined the tea party and deflected the tea party from those core principles.

There are more left-wing goofs than right-wings goofs. If the goofs stink-up the political process so badly the independents sit it out then the left-wing wins. GOP can't win if the independents sit it out. The Democrats can.

The independents tend to like the core tea party principles, but they don't particularly like the Santorum wing of conservatism.
