Its a great time. One of the best run shoots in the country. The targets are very nice and seem to break easy. Dry weather I guess. I will be going and I pre-squaded. I will be there form Tuesday on.

It was so good last year I'm going again this year. It's a well run shoot with good targets. Might be a little hot but maybe temps will go down in 2 weeks. If you like to shoot this is the place to be. Stayed at the Santa Fe Station Hotel just minutes away. Good rates, good food and good entertainment complex. Ben

Long Range forecast shows nice weather with high 80's low 90's. Lot of smoke in the valley now with the Calif. fires

The best and favorite place to visit and shoot.

Take a drive to Mt Charleston, see a show downtown, Eat @ Ellis Island, See Hoover Dam,

I broke my first 100 in the doubles there a few years ago.

    Great friendly people.

I would skip alot of shoots to attent this one.

I am planning on going. Leaving Wednesday night. Shooting Thursday thru Sunday. I have never been there either for shooting. I hope to go out there and get my last leg of my Grand Slam (100 Straight from the 27). LOL

I'm planning on coming out to Vegas.

    Hope to see ya'll there.

I'm going on a 2 week road trip that ends in Vegas and so won't be carrying ammo with me, Will there be shells available at the range?

    I usually shoot 3dr STS 7 1/2s.

    Looking forward to it!

great photos of the new arch. When were the pics taken? I don't know the projected finish date for that bridge, I don't think anyone knows for sure.

    Pretty pictures!

Another two years. It is two years behind schedule as they had two Tower cranes collapse in over 100 mph wind gusts on the Arizona side. The carnes were designed to withstand 100mpg but the gusts that came through were much more then that as they were high extended booms with jibs. Project has since been moving along

I really want to drive across a bridge that's 900' in the air with winds that are strong enough to blow over a tower crane. Bet it would be a good time with an empty 53' trailer too.

Tractor Trailers are not permitted across the dam now and will not be permitted across the bridge. They take the bypass through Laughlin which adds about 20 minutes to the trip.

They do have shells for sale at the gun club. They are also avaiable at Dick's and Walmart. Dick's is on the opposite side of town at the Galleria Mall in Henderson. There is a Walmart abut 15 minutes south of the gun club on US 95. Bass Pro/Outdoor World also sells shells but like Dick's they are on the opposite end of the valley at I-15 and Blue Diamond Road.
