I just wondered how many of you are digging out this mornin'. The news was showing some pretty healthy snow falls.

We have a little vocanic ash this morning does that count? I can see Mt. Redoubt from my front window and yesterday afternoon it blew. It looked like a nuclear explosion with a cloud up to 45,000 feet. The last time it started it lasted four months. Today is ash Sunday.

About 6" this morning, more coming. Under a Winter Storm Warning till this afternoon. We just about had all the snow gone, but this new stuff won't last long.

Maybe an inch or so 20 miles WSW of Chicago, but still coming down. Seems to be melting as fast as it hits...

We didn't get quite that much in eastern Kansas.

I'm sure this little fella was thinking "WTF!?!?"

Sunday we hit a high of 48°F and was sunny all day long, so most of the snow is gone.

Just came in from shoveling the second time today.....each time I shoveled at least 4 inches and yet the weather man says we only got 5..he did say that due to the wind blowing it was hard to get a true measurement. Made me feel somewhat better. First time out the wind was gusting to 35 but it has let up some. Lots of moisture in this snow. It was too heavy to push with the shovel. Had to fire up the snowblower.

Hope it melts off soon so our spring league runs smoothly on Thursday.

I guess we got lucky, Rick.....the snow missed us in Lethbridge but Calgary got 10" overnight.....we were supposed to but got lucky so the tractor stayed in the shop.
