I have read about Jim Greenwood and had another recommend him. Is this a gun you do not want to add a comb kit to? Why the need for a bend?

I have bent a few SXS's and they do spring back a bit after bending. I believe you are compressing the wood on the inside and stretching on the outside, leaving some stress in the wood. I don't think it is possible to fully relieve that stress.-Jerald

Most break-open gun with a stock bolt can have the stocks cast with just a little inletting alteration.
