I believe that young shooter was Dave Berlet with 50 straignt from the 27 yard line in low lighting conditions and difficult to see targets on the shoot off traps.

Great shooting Dave! Not sure who he beat, but the younger boy was referred to as "the kid" by the person with the microphone after the shoot.

Dave congratulated him for hanging in to the end and once again proved he is a class act and tough shooter.

Dave Berlet won his Kolar at the Cardinal Center, not the Grand.

I heard about a shooter missing the shoot off for a Chevy. Did you hear about that? Wow Ted and my Dad would have got a kick out of that!!!

Chris is a genuinely nice kid - soft spoken and unassuming. He's come a very long way since he started shooting two or three years ago.

The Thursday after he won the Kolar shoot off, I asked Chris if he was nervous going in to the shoot off. He told me he wasn't. Granddad didn't tell him what the shoot off was for...

I laughed so hard I nearly soiled myself.

    Sissy,

Be honest!! At your age you almost soil yourself without laughing hard.
