Vic Reinders was a NSSA AA member in 1947 only.

    Grant Ilseng was on an AA team in 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, & 1953.

    Braun made teams in 1941, 1942, 1943, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1963, & 1964.

Gene Sears has never been on any AA skeet team.

Due to the large target requirements of both sports (as well as the costs) and there only being so many days in a year to shoot, I would be amazed if anyone has done it in the last 50 years. And would be astounded if anyone has EVER done it with having been a professional shooter (full time employee of a gun or ammunition company, as Ilseng and Braun were).

Jim Moeller, an All American in trap and skeet in one year. He was a junior shooter at the time. Don't know the year, but it was probably back in the days of black powder and glass balls, he is that old. He currently is #1 in the nation on the skeet seniority list.

I find it hard to believe Vic Reinders was only an NSSA member for one year, as he has won many Wisconsin skeet titles from 1937 to 1962

Rudy Etchen was on the AA Skeet team once, in 1949.

Jim Moeller has never been on an AA skeet team. Not sure what is meant by "seniority", but his name does not show up 1 time in the NSSA Records Annual...

Fly- I didn't say he was a member for only one year, but he was a NSSA All-American for only one year.

Randy- Your fathers name does not come up in the NSSA Junior teams for 1949 or 1951 (as per a footnote in the Records Annual, "NOTE: There was no 1950 team. The 1951 teams include records of 1950.").

Elgin Gates has never been on an All American skeet team, unless he went by a different first name.

    Hey Cactus
Jim Beck said to tell Gene he's not alone on the triple play. Jim has done it also. Couple tough shooters there.

Many posters are long on old wive's tales and short on research material. There are many All American Teams and members every year, First Teams, not so many.

Also, in regards to Rudy Etchen:

    • Winner National Sub Small Bore (.410) Skeet Championship.

Assuming this is in reference to the World Championship, it is not true either. Etchens name does not show as a World Champion, and in fact only shows once in the Records Annual, as a member of the Professional AA team in 1949.
