I used Spears, The price was approx $540.00/ for a double release.( work was done quickly & no problems) I have a used 682 Gold E for my training wheel gun for doubles. If you want the Rolls Royce of release triggers use Allems but the cost is almost double.

Phil---Did you send your receiver to Spears or how did the whole transaction take place? I have the 682 Unsingle and don't plan on adding a double barrel to that gun. Would it be cheaper for a single release or do i not understand the whole principle. I traded my BT100 that had a release and now i'm missing it badly.----Matt

Allem installed their roller release in my Beretta 682 Gold E in July 2008.

The roller release is working great, I could not be more satisfied.

Check it out at the URL above, there is a link to the picture of the release.

I sent the receiver & the grip for my PFS. Best bet is to speak with the gunsmith directly. Tell him what you want & what he needs for him to do the job. Since yo're using just a single barrel, you might just may want tp go with Allems. They gey about $500.00 for each side.

Allem has a very sweet release trigger in his roller release . For the Beretta it,s a little over $1,000.00 shipping and all . Whats alot of money for any trigger . It comes with rolls you can change your self to speed up or slow down the trigger . I personally don,t think I would spend that much when Spears will do a very good release for half the price .

Spears--should be about half the price of Allems, comparing a stanadard release to a new Allems roller release. Personally I've used Spears in my old gun--never any trouble.---

My first choice would be Allems!!
My second choice would be Allems!!
    The cost is $500 /bbl
I had my 682 converted for this year and am very satisfied. The roller triggers are also convertible back to pull.
