    This is not verifiable information....

Who says stimulus money is not working?? How Lovely
    THE STIMULUS AT WORK!
Some have said that the stimulus hasn't saved any jobs,
but here is a case where at least one job was saved

Take for instance Oregon State University Athletic Director
    Bob DeCarolis.

Now Mr. DeCarolis was considering firing their
    Basketball Coach.......
    Craig Robinson

    after an
    8 -11 start (2-5) in the Pac 10 conference).
    When word reached Washington ,
    Undersecretary of Education
    Martha Kanter

was dispatched to Corvallis with $17 million
in stimulus money for the university.
    Thankfully, Craig Robinson's job is
    safe for another year

Now comes the interesting part of our story....
For those of you unfamiliar with
    Coach Robinson,.

he just so happens to be the brother in law
of none other than our country's
    beloved President,

    NOW YOUR CATCHING ON......
that's right he is the brother of
    Michelle Obama!

But hey, can't we all come to the conclusion
    that Coach Robinson's job security
    was all just a coincidence?
    I'm sure of it .... Aren't You?
    Thank Goodness For The Stimulus!!!
But $17 million for one job? I wonder what mine is worth?
If this doesn't anger you, nothing will... remember to vote this fall

Sounds like another one of those e-mails containing an Urban Legend. From a year or two ago.

    Don't you love those things.

Sounds like what he pulled for Michelle at her job in the Chicago hospital where she worked before he ran for the white house. She made like $127,000 a year there (part time), and Obamy got the state of Ill. (as governer) to donate a couple of million to the hospital. Within a few weeks her job salary almost doubled!!! He also pulled some strings real good for his Uncle that was arrested for a DUI,in the north east as well this last month. Then there was his Aunt somewhere else in the north east as well. Forgot where now as I have CRS syndrom these days. At least Carter only had "ONE" brother he had to keep tabs on!!! Well some families are bigger than others I guess!!! break-em all Jeff

    Pull & Mark,

Her salary went to $320,000. PART TIME. I'll be applying there this week.

Read somewhere just this week that the White House pulled some strings for one of their cronies that was in trouble with the IRS. They managed to "persuade" the IRS to grant him a 501 3c tax status....and made it RETROACTIVE back to 2008. Not sure how much was owed, but then again that's not the point.

    Bob,

That story was reported by FOX News back in late 2009. Snopes says it's false. But then Snopes is a husband & wife who are staunch Obama supporters and I find it hard to believe anything they comment about.

Except the news reported both stories, separately and at different times.

Still, looking at the stories side by side, it sure makes one think "hmmmm".
