"Rumble and Jack the Ripper" If you remember "Link" your well over 60. For you young guys, search "Link Wray". Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and a bunch of others, all say Link was the true "King" of rock and roll, not Elvis. Link Wray, North Carolina born, what a true rock and roller. T.

Link was considered the father of the Rock & Roll distorted guitar sound. He used to put fine razor blade cuts in his speaker cones for just alittle extra distortion. Shoot Well, George Jr.

If you remember Link Wray, you probably also remember Gene Vincent and a lot of others. Larry Evans

Link was well before my time, but I came accross his music a few years ago and it's some amazing stuff. My favorite is Run Chicken Run. I'm not sure when that song came out, but it's flat out aggressive, and probably well ahead of it's time.

Go to Songza.com and type in Link Wray and you will see a long list of songs you can play on your computer.
